"Three years ago I got sick of being soft and out of shape, so I decided to run a marathon. I trained for five months and ran the Las Vegas marathon in twenty-five hours. Since then, I've been running half marathons."
FUEL THE FIRE:
"Last year, I entered the FLEX Bikini Model Search held during Olympia Weekend and got third. That was the second one I ever did and it just got me totally into it. I can't wait to be in the live contest during Olympia Weekend 2009."
JAY FAN:
"I saw Jay Cutler training for the 2008 Olympia and then I got to see him at the show because I was a presenter during the finals. I was rooting for him all the way! Even though he didn't win, it was awesome seeing the end result of all the training he did leading up the show."
EXPOSURE:
"This year, my goal was to get in the magazines and meet more people in the industry. I've found something I really enjoy and I'm going for it because that's the key to be happy and successful. Find something you like and just do it."
ONE DAY:
"The best thing you can do for yourself is to take it one day at a time. Set a goal and then take the steps to reach it. If you don't make it, then keep plugging away until you do. Then you set another one."
