Jay was in the shape of his life just 20 minutes before jumping on stage at the Pre Judging. These pics were taken in te locker room of the Orleans Arena right before applying oil, pumping up a little and go on stage. What appenned between that time and the end of the PJ is anyone's guess but one thing is for sure. Up til the time the PJ was over, Jay had nailed it!

September will be the month of the East Tennessee Sports Expo. The weekend expo is TN's first annual and will feature bodybuilding, MMA fights, and power lifting, along with some world record attempts. It will be held on Sept. 12th & 13th and the Knoxville Expo Center in Knoxville, TN.

Weider Athletes, Gunter Schlierkamp, and Peter and Jessica Putnam will be in attendance.

It was a great day in San Diego at the World Gym of Garnet ave for the big parking lot bash anniversary of Pete Ciccone's 619 Muscle. Tons of Pros came for the occasion including Mr. Olympia himself, Silvio Samuel, Derik Farnsworth, Troy Alves, Rich Jones, Flex Lewis and many more...

Big Toney Freeman was in Venice for a FLEX photoshoot and of course he came by the shop later to say hello and also bring me his brand new DVD called "The XMan Cometh" We watched a little bit of it and I must say it was very well made. It's different than what is out there today, I encourage you to pick it up and check it out, it is available on Toney's site at WWW.TONEYFXMAN.COM or of course, at my Max Muscle Venice.
