NEW YORK, Nov. 2, 2012 – Robbie Durand, Editor in Chief, Flex Magazine, announced today that the 2012 Mr. Olympia 3rd Place Winner, Shawn Rhoden, and 2012 Mr Olympia 212 Showdown winner James 'Flex' Lewis re-signed their contracts with AMI's Weider Publications.

"Shawn is an inspiration for his resiliency in bouncing back after an 8th place finish at the 2012 Arnold Classic to an amazing 3rd place finish at the 2012 Mr. Olympia several months later. After this performance, we are thrilled to-resign Shawn Rhoden for our exclusive contract," said Mr. Durand.

Shawn Rhoden competed in an unprecedented 8 contests this year. His season culminated in a third place finish at the 2012 Mr. Olympia. Rhoden had already won the 2012 PBW Pro and 2012 Europa Dallas contests, then traveled to Spain and the UK to claim back to back victories at the 2012 Arnold Classic Europe as well as the 2012 British Grand Prix. Rhoden accomplished all this after taking 6 weeks off for a hernia surgery.

Regarding James 'Flex' Lewis, Mr. Durand states, "Flex Lewis will be a dominant force for years to come. He's a dedicated athlete who serves as a role model for young, hard working bodybuilders. I'm exceptionally pleased that he's decided to remain with Weider/AMI".

James Lewis won the 2012 Mr Olympia 212 Showdown and immediately went overseas to dominate and win the 2012 British Grand Prix 212 as well as the 2012 Prague Pro Championship 212.
