Rhoden Out of Arnold Classic 2013

After competing in eight shows in 2012 and recently guest posing in 4 different countries after placing 3rd at the 2012 Olympia, Shawn Rhoden has decided to skip the 2013 Arnold Classic and wait for the upcoming Olympia.

Rhoden stated, “I need to give my body a rest from the competitive year and I need a full year off to grow.  The numerous shows I have competed in this year has taken an enormous mental and physical strain on my body and I need to give my body a much needed break.”

Next year’s upcoming Mr. Olympia will be one of the most exciting contests to date with defending Mr. Olympia Phil Heath taking on runner-up Kai Greene, Jay Cutler, Shawn Rhoden, Branch Warren, Dennis Wolf, and more.Be sure to check out Shawn Rhoden’s Arm feature next month in Flex Magazine.
