Toney Freeman is the heavy favorite. The X-man is looking to extend his streak of notching at least one pro win a year since 2006. After what he called a subpar Friday night performance at the ’09 Mr. Olympia — where he finished eighth — Freeman will be looking to redeem himself in Sacramento.

But Darrem Charles, Mark Dudgale, Ed Nunn and Martin Kjellstrom will have a thing or two to say about that.

Charles is looking to extend a wining streak of his own, one even more impressive than Freeman's - Charles has won at least one contest a year since 2002, including last year's win in the master's division of the Atlantic City Pro.

Dugdale will be moving back to the open class after spending most of this year in the 202 class. He fared well in the 202s, with two runner-up finishes (Pittsburgh Pro, New York Pro) and a fourth at the 202 Showdown. Now, he will conclude the year where he began it, in the open class. Dugdale started the 2009 season with a ninth-place finish at the Ironman Pro Invitational.

Nunn, who won the overall at the 2008 NPC Nationals, made his professional debut at the Europa Super Show in August, where he placed seventh.

Kjellstrom, meanwhile, is coming off his first Olympia appearance. The big Swede placed out of the top 15 in Las Vegas, but has the size and conditioning to make waves in Sacramento.
