ANDRÉ ROLET (CIRCA 1910) VS. DORIAN YATES (1995)
What a difference 85 years or so makes.
France’s André Rolet represented the gold standard in muscle building during the days when bodybuilders were referred to as physique artists and when it was the rare gentleman who did not sport a waxed mustache.
Fast-forward to the mid-1990s to find a physique artist by the name of Dorian Yates, a gentleman who ate Rolet-sized meals six times a day. We can only imagine what a comparison between Yates and the top bodybuilder of 2080 might look like. Or maybe we can’t.
