In 2010 Mamdouh Elssbiay joined Oxygen Gym in Kuwait. By 2011 he was up to 200lbs and when he stepped on the 2012 Amateur Olympia stage, he weighed in at 286 lbs, was declared the champion. and the world met the man known as "Big Ramy." In 2013, Ramy made his IFBB Pro debut at the New York Pro where he won the contest and the applause of the tough New York crowd.

 

Ramy finished off the 2013 season with a 8th place finish at his first Mr. Olympia.

 

Ramy has worked  under the guidance of Team Weider's very own Dennis James. James stated, “Ramy has so much potential is unreal.  Pictures do not do him justice.  When you see him in person, the size and mass of Ramy is incredible!”
