Following the successful homecoming of the ‘IFBB Pro British Grand Prix’ to London last year, the SportEx Festival will now open its doors to the second instalment of this prestigious muscular showcase. Held at EventCity, Manchester on the 20th and 21st of October, the show will welcome some of the biggest names on the bodybuilding circuit, just weeks after their ‘Olympia’ involvement. With a host of categories including Pro Bikini, Pro Men's Open and the Under 212 Pro classes, the ‘IFBB Pro British Grand Prix’ is set to be the most anticipated date in the British bodybuilding calendar.Advertisement
In addition to the professional competing contingent at SportEx, the show will witness the culmination of the ‘UKBFF National Championships’. With the country’s finest amateur athletes battling their way through various qualifying rounds throughout the year, the finals are primed to be a fascinating encounter between the UK’s biggest rising muscular talent.
Names already confirmed to appear across the SportEx weekend include IFBB Bikini Pro Ali Rosen, ‘The Welsh Dragon’ Flex Lewis and Ronny ‘The Rock’ Rockel. With dozens of huge name athletes to be unveiled over the coming weeks, it is exciting times for the show.
SportEx Festival’s Marketing Director Ollie Upton expands, “This is the first time ever both championships are in the same building, at the same time. We will have the best professional and amateur bodybuilding athletes competing at the show which is a prospect to interest any fitness enthusiast. It will be quite a spectacle.”
