Huong Arcinas might be looking at a repeat performance at the 2009 Sacramento Pro at the Crest Theatre in Sacramento California. Arcinas, who notched her first pro win here a year ago, made a strong case to defend her title after landing in the first callout of both one and two-piece rounds.

Arcinas will be pushed by a trio of competitors looking for their first professional win — Cheryl Brown, Kristi Tauti and Julie Ann Kulla.

Tauti is coming off a runner-up finish at the Border States Classic last month.

Brown, who turned pro in August at the North American, is looking to start her professional career off with a win.

Landing a spot in the top three in the last pro show of the year holds a sifignicant meaning — an early qualification into the 2010 Figure Olympia.
