A year ago, a hyper-conditioned Moe Elmoussawi burst onto the scene at the Ironman Pro, edging out Silvio Samuel and placing just behind Gustavo Badell for a career-best third-place finish. El Moussawi followed that up with a second third-place finish at the Australian Grand Prix before cracking the top 10 with a ninth-place finish at the Olympia.

In the below pictures, taken at exactly four weeks out from the 2009 Ironman Pro, El Moussawi is weighing 246 pounds.
