Combining casein protein powder with flaxseed oil can help maximize gains

One of the major benefits of casein protein is the fact that humans digest it very slowly. Certain types of casein supply amino acids steadily to muscles for up to seven hours, which helps prevent muscle breakdown during sleep or between meals.
A good source of essential fatty acids, flaxseed oil offers many health benefits, as well as enhanced muscle growth, joint recovery and fat loss. For this stack, take flaxseed oil to further slow digestion of casein protein shakes consumed at bedtime.
STACK IT LIKE THIS
Take two to three tablespoons of flaxseed oil either with or 15-30 minutes before having a casein protein shake (20-40 g of casein protein mixed with water or low-fat milk) just before going to bed. A protein shake that contains casein (preferably the micellar form) provides muscles with critical amino acids throughout the night; taking flaxseed oil with or better yet, 15-30 minutes before the casein shake will elongate the steady rate of amino acids delivered to muscles overnight.
