NPC amateur Troy Tate won the 35+ Masters Men Bodybuilding Heavyweight and the Overall here at the 2013 NPC Masters Nationals. Tired and hungry yet enthusiastic and excited, Tate wants to compete soon as a professional bodybuilder; As well, Dennis James recommends Tate should compete in the 212 because he has the physique for it.

Tate competed as a Light Heavyweight at the 2012 NPC USA Championships but only placed 11th. Tate knew that his physique dictated he should compete as a Heavyweight, so he hired IFBB Pro George Farah to help attain that goal.

Leaving nothing to chance, Troy Tate concentrated for one year eating right, training correctly and avoiding anything detrimental to his goal.

Troy gained 20lbs of lean body mass, stepped on stage here in Pittsburgh and took what was rightfully his.
